Open PhD Position in Polymer Chemistry and Biosensors

Your tasks:

The project involves designing electrochemical biosensors for environmental and healthcare applications. Your tasks will include synthesizing polymer-based carriers with immobilized enzymes, fabricating biosensors, and investigation of electrochemical reactions.

Your profile:

• Expertise in preparative polymer or organic chemistry.
• Knowledge in surface modification and polymerization techniques via ATRP, RAFT, etc.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and undertake experimental research.
• Excellent analysis skills and an analytical mind-set.
• An ability to work independently and as a member of a research team.
• Ability to review and engage with interdisciplinary studies.
• A strong motivation for science and proficient written and oral communication skills in English are crucial for the successful completion of this challenging project.
